Description

A global engineering business in the Dudley area recruiting for two experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong machine design skills to design & innovate cutting edge machinery used in a range of sectors.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will be involved with everything and will work across the full project lifecycle. This includes from blank sheet design, customer interaction, in-depth CAD design, calculations, FEA, prototyping and taking your design through to manufacture, assembly & installation with a close link-up with the shopfloor.

Due to the interesting nature of their work, the company boast a very high staff retention and a strong workplace culture. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be granted a lot of autonomy from day one and will also be progressed in the long-run.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

HNC/D or Degree Level in a Mechanical Engineering
3D CAD (all major packages considered)
Strong experience designing Machinery / Equipment / Automated systems
FEA
Electrical knowledge (desirable but not essential)
