About the Role:
Client is the world leader in ejection seat technology, they are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join their team in Denham. This is a key position within the Inspection department, ensuring the quality and integrity of critical components used in life-saving aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical components using a variety of techniques and precision tools
- Interpret and verify parts against engineering drawings and specifications
- Accurately record inspection results and non-conformances using SAP
- Maintain inspection documentation and track component progress through production
- Ensure parts are correctly identified, stored, and traceable always
Requirements:
- Previous inspection experience in a mechanical or aerospace manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
- Proficient with inspection tools and equipment
- Familiarity with SAP and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Sound knowledge of health and safety practices
