We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Lead to take full responsibility for the mechanical package on a large, high-profile commercial project in Central London. This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise and commercial awareness to drive the successful delivery of the mechanical scope from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical package on a major commercial development.
• Take ownership of mechanical delivery, programme, quality, cost control and health & safety.
• Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, ensuring performance aligns with contractual, technical and programme requirements.
• Work closely with the wider project team, consultants and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other disciplines.
• Oversee procurement, design coordination and installation activities.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and compliance across all mechanical works.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Lead, Mechanical Package Manager or Mechanical Project Manager on large commercial projects.
• Strong background in managing mechanical subcontractors and complex building services packages.
• Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial developments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of a major mechanical package.

Salary: up to £120,000 per annum
