We’re hiring a Mechatronics Engineer, a key role in a growing team. This position offers real ownership from day one, and you’ll be an important part of a small, focused group working on high-impact projects. We’re looking for someone with a mechanical or mechatronics background who wants to build the world class systems from the ground up. You should be comfortable working across disciplines, contributing to both design and implementation, and ready to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-moving environment.

PhD candidates with a strong engineering foundation are welcome to apply - especially if you're looking to apply your skills in a hands-on role where your work will have a clear and immediate impact.

Key Requirements:

• A relevant degree from a Russell Group universities or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience with both mechanical and electronic systems
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and/or 3D printing
• Familiarity with circuit design and electronic integration
• Customer or client-facing experience, with strong motivation to drive high growth in a start-up environment

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with embedded programming (C, C++) and scripting (Python)
• Confidence using lab instruments to debug and validate hardware
• Experience working with robotic platforms or custom computing devices
