Media Planning Manager (12-Month FTC - Maternity Cover)

We're working with a well-established, consumer-facing leisure and hospitality brand backed by a major private equity group. With strong performance, significant investment and a fast-paced, data-driven marketing function, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on media planner to step into a role with real ownership and impact.
Sitting within the Performance Marketing team, you will manage multichannel campaign planning across online and offline channels, ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently, effectively and with maximum commercial return.
You'll also oversee and optimise relationships with key third-party partners, ensuring strong performance and value from all external activity.
Key responsibilities:
Day-to-day planning across digital and traditional media channels
Managing and coordinating 3rd party vendors and media partners
Supporting ongoing marketing campaigns, optimising for commercial performance
Cross-functional collaboration with brand, CRM, PPC, programmatic and SEO teams
Using performance data to analyse campaigns and drive continuous improvement
Contributing to annual and seasonal planning cycles
Strong multichannel campaign experience (digital + offline)
Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
Experience managing agencies or third-party partners
Ability to analyse campaign results and turn insights into action
Confident communicator with solid stakeholder management skills
Ideal for someone currently in an Account Manager role or an in-house Media Planner looking to step up
You'll report directly into the Media Planning Lead and work closely with:
Heads of Programmatic, PPC & SEO
CRM team
Brand Marketing team
This role offers a high level of ownership, with support available when needed.
