The Role
We are seeking a
Medical Communications Manager to lead the execution of UKI medical communication plans for LDB brands. This role is pivotal in ensuring impactful omnichannel activations that align with brand strategies and the international vision.
You will act as a key medical expert within the organisation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Medical Relations, Marketing, Legal, and Scientific/CMI, to ensure strategic alignment and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Medical Strategy Execution: Deliver UKI medical communication plans aligned with brand and international strategies.
- Content Development: Lead the creation of medical detailing materials and support omnichannel growth, including digital platforms and teledermatology projects.
- Event Support: Collaborate on medical conferences, ad boards, and events to ensure alignment with communication plans.
- Claims Leadership: Work with Legal, Scientific, and Marketing teams to sign off compliant, impactful claims.
- Team Leadership: Manage and coach the Medical Communications Intern to deliver KPIs on time and on budget.
About You
We are looking for a collaborative and strategic professional with a strong background in healthcare and communication.
Your Skills And Experience
- A degree in life sciences or equivalent, with experience in a fast-paced consumer or pharma environment.
- Strong scientific and healthcare knowledge, with the ability to translate complex medical language.
- Digital expertise, including CRM and GDPR compliance.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and flexibility to adapt to dynamic business needs.
