Job Title: Medical/Hospital Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Calder Vets Dewsbury Hospital
Hours: 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends (Days only)
Salary: £60,000 per year (Depending on experience)

The team
At Calder Vets we have a fantastic team across all of our sites, and we adopt a truly supportive team culture where we value collaboration and open communication. We have a large vet team and are supported by fantastic nursing and front-of-house teams, and many of our vets are working towards certificates in surgery, imaging, dermatology, cardiology and ophthalmology. We have a long established reputation for clinical excellence and are looking for a colleague who shares in our core values.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent and RCVS registration
- Previous experience working in a hospital environment
- Experience with ultrasound scanning
- A confident individual who enjoys all elements of their role, including medical workup, consulting and inpatient care
- Existing certifications would be ideal, but not essential
