Medical writer

Are you an aspiring medical writer looking to explore healthcare communications? Perhaps you’re early in your medical writing career but looking for that next step? We’re seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented medical writer to join our growing team.

The role

You will be engaged in developing a diverse array of deliverables, including internal and external medical education materials, content for meetings and congresses, and publications.

This role offers a unique combination of scientific depth and creative challenge, ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution to the field of healthcare communications and deliver excellent content for our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

Key responsibilities

• Developing high-quality and scientifically rigorous content for a range of deliverables in accordance with the client’s strategic objectives
• Leading and managing your own projects while building strong and trusted partnerships with colleagues, clients and other external stakeholders
• Using creative skills to propose ideas for stimulating and impactful enhanced content
• Adapting your writing style for different target audiences

What you’ll need

• A strong academic background in a life science subject
• Relevant writing experience – desirable but not necessary; if you have experience, please be sure to mention this in your cover letter
• Excellent communication skills, creative thinking ability, and the drive to explore new ways of communicating data and scientific concepts
• Intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, versatility and motivation to succeed in an editorial role
• A keen eye for detail, as well as the adaptability to work both collaboratively with a team and autonomously
• The ability to be calm under pressure, with excellent organizational and time management skills, and to multitask effectively and work to deadlines without compromising on quality
