Member Services Team

Required

Working on the Member Services Team, you will need excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, together with good attention to detail and a competent level of IT knowledge. You will be required to work as part of a busy pensions team and have the ability to manage your own workload. The Member Services Team involves:

• Processing pension calculations such as retirements, transfers, and estimates

Ensuring the timely payment of member’s benefits

Providing accurate information to our members, about the pension fund

Liaising with other departments to ensure members receive the best levels of service

Training will be provided at all stages, along with an introduction to the work carried out by other areas within the Pensions department, giving the opportunity to consider alternative roles within the fund as they become available, and your experience grows.

As a senior pension officer, you will be required to:

• Process complex calculations such as deaths, ill health's and AVC’s
• Be responsible for putting members pensions into payment
• Train and liaise with pension officers
• Providing feedback to other team members
• Dealing with member queries and complaints
