MEP Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction business delivering a hyperscale data centre project in North-West London.
This is a high-profile, technically complex scheme with a strong MEP focus, requiring robust commercial management, contract administration expertise, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced site environment.
The Role
As MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of MEP packages from procurement through to final account, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
• Commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages on a large-scale data centre project
• Procurement, administration, and management of MEP subcontract packages
• Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Assessment and agreement of variations, change control, and final accounts
• Contract administration under NEC contracts (preferred) or JCT forms
• Working closely with project, design, and delivery teams on-site
• Supporting risk and opportunity management across MEP works
About You
You will be an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor with a background in either MEP contracting or main contractor environments.
You will ideally have:
• Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor on large construction or infrastructure projects
• NEC contract exposure (preferred), with JCT experience also considered
• Experience on data centres, MEP-led projects, or other technically complex schemes
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• The ability to work full-time on-site (5 days per week)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Package & Benefits
• Salary: £70,000 – £75,000
