Merchandising Assistant

As our Merchandise Assistant you'll support the Furniture & Electrical (F&E) Team helping manage our product and range’s life cycle all the way from initial planning all the way through to store distribution and trading.

Responsibilities include:

• producing and maintaining purchase orders
• analysing historical data to inform the buying strategy
• formulating accurate proposals for range planning
• providing essential insights into store, supplier, and product performance to the wider team
• liaising with stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration
• preparing weekly reports and analysis and ensure department objectives are met
• maintaining department files and documentation
• responding to store queries as required

About you

We're looking for someone with previous merchandising experience gained in a retail Head Office environment and with strong commercial awareness. You'll have experience as an experienced Admin Assistant/MAA looking for the next step.

• be IT proficient with strong systems and Microsoft Excel skills.

• have strong time management skills

Working arrangements

This is a FTC until May 2026

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our Northampton Office.
