Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

Pearse Partners are working with a boutique advisory firm with 25+ years’ track record in global energy M&A. The team has strong deal flow and are looking to expand due to pipeline. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of M&A deal experience from a leading IB. They are open with sector background but looking for someone who is passionate about energy, and wanting to specialise in this moving forward.

The Role

• Analyst 2–3 level (1–3 years’ IB / corporate finance experience).
• Hands-on execution: modelling, valuation, strategic analysis, client materials.
• Small, entrepreneurial team; direct exposure to senior decision-makers and blue-chip energy clients.

Profile

• Strong corporate finance / M&A fundamentals.
• Energy sector knowledge highly valued (IB, equity research, consulting backgrounds all considered).
• Ambitious, analytical, and keen to take early responsibility.
