Job Purpose
As Metering Lead you will manage a high performing team to deliver business critical activities, through performance management, motivation and development.
Ensuring that key activities are prioritised and work managed effectively to achieve regulatory and market SLA performance. Playing a key part in the management and delivery of Developer Services and Metering activities and the associated results published in peer comparison reports by MOSL and your team will be expected to play a central role in driving performance and any associated improvements.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Day to day management of a team of Case Managers – accountable for workforce planning, forecasting & submission of teams leave, overtime, bonus etc
- Drive team and individual performance and associated improvements in line with BRMEX and the Market Performance Framework
- Ownership of the day to day jeopardy management of JIRA dashboards and support with dashboard reporting and attendance at MPF meetings
- Lead daily/weekly jeopardy management meetings/Team Huddles with team/manager/contractors
- Stakeholder management and build strong working relationship with external and internal parties to provide services and give and receive feedback on how these may be improved such as Retailers, MOSL, RPS, Network Plus, Other Wholesalers and internally – Customer Services, Metering Operations, ICC, Trade Effluent, Developer Services stakeholders
Technical Skills & Experience
- Full understanding of all industry measures for OPS/MPS and GSS requirements with the ability to translate strategy into operational activities with Market Requirements, compliance being a main focus
- Good technical knowledge of all aspects of metering/associated equipment and systems including JIRA, CMOS and Walto
- Ability to make judgements and decisions on technical metering issues
- Ability to be mainly self-sufficient within the role with a heavy reliance on maintaining all controls and audits effectively with minimal support
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others with a strong performance drive
- Strong organisational & planning skills to ensure that activities are allocated, prioritised and managed through to completion within Market SLA's
