Shift: Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 4.45pm & Friday 9am to 5pm (36 hours per week)

Salary: £27,599 - £29,401 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Hybrid - Enderby, Leicester (with travel between sites)

We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Data Analyst to join our team, ideal for recent graduates or those new to the data field. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical skills, work with real world data, and contribute to data driven decision making across our Next Customer Service Online Operations. You’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship while gaining experience with data tools and techniques, making this the perfect starting point for a rewarding career in data analysis.

Leveraging your SQL experience, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing reporting and analytical capabilities across multiple systems, enabling timely and accurate insights to reduce customer detriment and minimise business impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Analyse both historical and real-time data across multiple platforms to identify key trends and potential issues.
  • Create, interpret, and present high-quality reports, forecasts, and performance insights.
  • Support senior leaders and stakeholders by providing accurate analysis to inform operational decisions.
  • Respond to business-critical incidents (Priority Ones), helping to reduce impact and support resolution.
  • Build and maintain performance models to assess departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement change.
  • Provide system support and analytical insight to teams across the wider business.
  • Work closely with analysts from other departments to share insights, align reporting efforts and foster cross-functional collaboration.

What We’re Looking For:

  • High level of SQL ability.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards) or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI is desirable.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly to all levels of the business.
  • Logical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
  • A naturally curious mindset – you’re someone who isn’t afraid to ask “why” and challenge the status quo.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and passionate about delivering high-quality work that supports customer-first decisions.
