Role Overview
We have an exciting new position for a Microsoft 365 Consultant to join our expanding M365 Consultancy practice.
This role encompasses the planning, design, and delivery of standard and customised solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical execution of projects, engaging throughout the full project lifecycle, from presales to operational handover. We are seeking a dynamic professional who is passionate about leveraging new technologies to address complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conducting client consultations and workshops to gather requirements and identify technical design needs.
- Developing comprehensive High-Level and Low-Level Designs.
- Producing additional project documentation, such as RACI matrices, operating models, and training guides for both end-users and technical teams.
- Delivering training sessions and client workshops to support the proposed solutions.
- Building and fostering trusted relationships with clients.
- Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outputs and maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Promoting continuous improvement through team-oriented initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate timekeeping, adhering to commercial budgets, and exemplifying strong consultancy practices.
About you
We are looking for a professional who possesses:
- Extensive knowledge of architecting, designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions in SharePoint, MS Teams, Purview and the broader M365 platform and the ability to consult and advise clients on the capabilities and potential of the broader M365 platform.
- Knowledge of Copilot/Copilot for M365/Copilot agents.
- Experience with migrations to M365 while adhering to best practices and providing expert oversight.
- Proficiency in designing solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Keeping up with frequent M365 updates and changes
- Adjusting to different client environments and industries
- Working with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users
- Managing time, scope, and resources effectively
- Prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
- Balancing technical feasibility with business needs
- Seeking feedback and improving based on experience
- Familiarity with data governance and information protection principles.
- Basic understanding of development best practices within the M365 ecosystem.
- Experience in presenting and demonstrating solution designs to stakeholders.
- Expertise in providing business analysis to inform solution design decisions and requirements gathering.
- A collaborative approach to working with project teams in close partnership with clients.
- A track record of taking ownership of client outcomes and strategic direction.
- An awareness of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
- Knowledge of Power Platform.
- Knowledge of other AI technologies outside of Copilot
