Microsoft Fabric Developer Opportunity
I’m currently working with a client who is looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Developer to support their data and reporting initiatives.
The role will involve:
- Reviewing business use cases to identify problems and design the right solutions
- Developing Excel input templates with validation logic
- Building and maintaining data pipelines (Data Pipelines or Dataflow Gen2) from Fabric Lakehouse files into Power BI semantic models
- Designing and delivering stakeholder Power BI reports to tight timelines
- Documenting processes and procedures for ongoing support and consistency
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience across the full data lifecycle – from ingesting and cleansing raw data to building robust models and delivering insights in Power BI
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and ETL/data pipeline processes
- A Microsoft certification such as DP-600 (Microsoft Fabric) or PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), or a comparable certification in data engineering/BI
- A portfolio or examples of previous work (e.g., GitHub, personal website, architecture diagrams, or published Power BI reports)

💰 Rate: £500 - £650 per day depending on experience
