Migration Delivery Head

We are looking for a seasoned Migration Delivery Head with deep expertise in OCS (Online Charging System), BSS, and Core Network technologies. The ideal candidate will lead and manage complex telecom migration projects, ensuring seamless delivery across multiple domains. This role requires strong technical depth, hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and implementation experience, as well as excellent stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of complex migration programs involving OCS, BSS, and Core Network components.
• Develop and lead migration strategies, execution plans, fallback procedures, and post-migration validation activities.
• Work closely with internal and external project managers, vendors, and system integrators (SIs) to coordinate detailed migration activities.
• Ensure hands-on involvement in migration testing, cutover planning, troubleshooting, and real-time execution.
• Guide teams through technical validation, rollback planning, and live network transitions.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, operations, and support teams to ensure readiness and minimize risk.
• Manage stakeholder communications, report progress, and escalate risks and issues as needed.
• Coordinate multi-phase, multi-vendor implementations while ensuring service continuity and compliance with business goals.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom delivery with strong knowledge across:
• OCS – Prepaid/postpaid platforms, converged charging, real-time rating.
• BSS – Billing, CRM, mediation, order management.
• Core Network – EPC, MSC/MGW, HLR/HSS, signaling (SS7, Diameter).
• Hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of telecom systems and migrations.
• Proven track record leading live network migrations with minimal impact and successful cutovers.
• Strong understanding of telecom protocols, architecture, and operational readiness requirements.
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments and managing external suppliers and integrators.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at both technical and executive levels.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of 5G Core and telco cloud platforms.
• Experience with OSS/BSS transformation, platform consolidation, and legacy sunset planning.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
