About The Role
As a Minibus Driver, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the school’s transport services, ensuring pupils and staff are transported safely, courteously, and punctually. This includes shuttle runs between the Downsend Sixth Form Centre and the main site, supporting home-to-school transport routes, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school’s vehicles.
You will be a friendly and reliable presence, representing the school to students, parents, and the community—with a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellent service.

Who we are looking for:
- You must hold a full UK manual driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years) with no more than 3 penalty points
- Hold a PCV licence (category D1 with 101 restriction removed) to operate a 16-seater minibus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to pupil safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding
- Ideally, you will have experience working with children and/or in a school transport setting
