🚀 MLOps Engineer – Financial Services / Analytics

Location: UK Remote

Salary: £50-55k + 15% Bonus

I am recruiting for a MLOps Engineer to join a specialist analytics team within a leading UK financial services organisation. The team combines data science, actuarial expertise, and technology to deliver innovative solutions to clients in pensions and insurance.

You’ll play a key role in developing and deploying machine learning models in Azure ML, building robust pipelines, and working on advanced analytics projects that directly impact business-critical decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, deploy, maintain, and refine machine learning models in production using Azure ML.
• Develop predictive models in collaboration with analysts (e.g., life expectancy, investment returns, default risks).
• Build and optimise data pipelines (Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory) to ensure data quality and availability.
• Implement MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, retraining pipelines, and model drift detection.

What I'm Looking For:

Essential

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing machine learning models in Azure ML (production environments).
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data wrangling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/MLOps best practices, and version control.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (ideally Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
