Analysis of mobile devices in accordance with CCL-Forensics’ procedures
Main Duties & Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Analysis of mobile devices in accordance with CCL-Forensics’ procedures
- Utilise CCL’s case management system to effectively manage projects to ensure clients requirements and expectations are fulfilled
- Off-site triaging, analysis and assistance Writing witness statements, reports and generating data to a standard that can be presented in court
- Communicating any case specific technical details to clients, coordinators and management
- Pro-actively acquire forensic knowledge to maintain up to date and improve processes within the laboratory
- Adhering to and assisting in the maintenance of ISO standards

Essential
- Sound understanding of current ACPO guidelines and Forensic Regulator’s requirements (ISO 17025 and Codes of Practice and Conduct)
- Ability to work with a high level of precision and accuracy, with great attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently and make sound and reasoned judgements
- Sound analytical and interpretation skills
- Knowledge of forensic software
Education
Essential
- Degree level qualification (2:2 or above) BSc in an IT related field; Computer Science or
- Digital Forensics degrees are desirable Or
- HND/HNC & 1 -> 3 years’ experience in digital forensics
