LSH Auto is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art dealership in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough MOT inspections on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and environmental standards.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,000
Requirements
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations
- Identify defects or issues that fail to meet safety and environmental standards
- Provide detailed records of tests performed, including results and recommendations for repairs
- Advise customers on necessary repairs to ensure their vehicles pass the MOT
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the testing area, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current MOT Tester certification is essential
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Proven experience working as an MOT Tester or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with customers and team members
- A valid UK driving licence is required
