About Role
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Engineer with deep insurance industry expertise to design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in Power Automate and broader Power Platform capabilities while effectively managing stakeholder relationships and driving digital transformation initiatives within the insurance and re-insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development
- Design and develop complex automation workflows using Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow)
- Build custom applications using Power Apps to meet specific business requirements
- Create comprehensive data visualizations and reports using Power BI
- Implement Dataverse solutions for data management and integration
- Develop and maintain connectors for third-party system integrations
- Ensure solution scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance
Solution Architecture
- Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities
- Design end-to-end Power Platform solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
- Create technical documentation, solution blueprints, and deployment guides
- Establish best practices and governance frameworks for Power Platform implementations
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration with existing systems
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with cross-functional teams
- Present technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while maintaining clear communication with all parties
- Build strong relationships with business users, IT teams, and senior leadership
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users and citizen developers
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate with demonstrated experience building complex workflows
- Strong experience across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system integration patterns
- Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure services
- Knowledge of data modeling, database concepts, and SQL
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements
Communication & Collaboration Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Proven stakeholder management experience working with diverse business units
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for leading meetings and workshops
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building intelligent chatbots and conversational AI solutions
- Familiarity with Power Platform CLI and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and other Azure services
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Business Acumen
- Experience in business process analysis and optimization
- Understanding of change management principles
- Project management experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Industry-specific knowledge relevant to our business domain
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications preferred (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600)
- Microsoft Copilot Studio certification is a plus
- Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) are advantageous
