An Opportunity Has Arisen For Band 7 MSK Physiotherapist, This Position Will Be For 12 Months To Cover Maternity Leave. The Successful Candidate Will Deliver a Wide Variety Of Clinical Work Within The Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service In The Community Clinic Setting. This Includes Working With Patients Who Have a Variety Of Complex Needs, E.g.
- Orthopaedic Post-op patients
- Degenerative Conditions
- Chronic Pain
- Self-referral patient
Secondment will be considered
Assess and treat own caseload of patients who have complex presentations and maintain own records as an autonomous practitioner
Review patients on a 1:1 basis as well as deliver therapy and education in class settings.
To lead assessment, liaison and decision making processes for patients.
To undertake a significant clinical caseload to a high professional standard, using specialist knowledge from theoretical and practical experience.
To support the Band 8a in the planning, co-ordination and evaluation of the MSK Physiotherapy Service on a day-to-day basis, and to cover for any other area with this specific caseload as necessary.
