About The Role
We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our factory in Barton. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday,14:30 - 23:00.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Providing rapid response to breakdown’s when required
- Fault finding including PLC, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time
- Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems
- Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process)
- Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (ShireSystem)
- To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.
About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
- Time served engineer with NVQ level 3 (Electrical).
- Experience in a similar engineering function and in industrial environment.
- Understanding of PLC Systems.
- An ability to work well under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
- To think on your own initiative.
- Continuous improvement attitude
