We are looking for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team at AMK Fresh, based at our Peterborough site. Working a 4 on / 4 off night-shift pattern, this is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer to play a pivotal role within a fast-paced, high-performing food manufacturing environment.
Our Peterborough facility, which opened in 2020, continues to benefit from significant ongoing investment, including new production line installations and continuous upgrades to existing machinery. You’ll be working with modern, well-maintained equipment and gaining exposure to new and evolving technologies as the site continues to grow.
We are committed to developing our Engineers, offering ongoing training and opportunities to enhance technical capability while actively promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the Engineering function. This role provides the chance to expand your skill set, strengthen your expertise, and make a tangible impact on overall site performance.
In this hands-on position, you will support the night-shift operation by maintaining and fault-finding on a wide range of production equipment, including conveyors, heat sealers, netting and flow-wrapping machinery, alongside coding and labelling systems.
Working in close partnership with Production teams, you will share technical knowledge, collaborate on fault resolution, and contribute to improving machine efficiency and reliability. By supporting and developing Machine Operators, you will play a key role in reducing downtime and driving improved line performance throughout the night shift.
