Daniel Owen is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor carrying out remedial and restoration works for major housebuilders, insurance companies, and directly for the NHBC. We are seeking experienced and professional Multi-Trade Operatives to join the team, working in a customer-facing role within occupied residential properties.
This is not your average construction role - our client places strong emphasis on quality, customer service, and professionalism. You'll be a key part of ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service in their homes.
Role Responsibilities
Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in their homes
Carrying out a variety of remedial works to a high standard
Diagnosing and fixing issues directly or coordinating with the office and specialist trades
Ensuring work is completed promptly, professionally, and with minimal disruption
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Representing the company with courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a multi-trade role or general construction
Strong Background In One Or More Of The Following
General building
Carpentry
Plaster patching
Painting
Ceramic tiling
Heating & plumbing (desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to problem-solve and work independently
Reliable, well-presented, and respectful when working in occupied homes
