About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven National Account Manager to take ownership of Ferrero’s partnership with Iceland. Reporting into a Business Unit Controller, you will be responsible for leading the commercial agenda, shaping growth plans, and delivering category-focused strategies that strengthen Ferrero’s brand presence across this important retailer.
This role provides the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most iconic confectionery brands, including Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder, and Tic Tac, while driving sustainable business performance in a competitive retail environment.
Main Responsibilities:
As National Account Manager for Iceland, you will take full responsibility for the customer account, developing and executing insight-led business plans that deliver sales, profit, and market share growth. You will manage the full P&L, leading on trade terms, promotional strategy, margin management, and budget control to ensure strong commercial delivery.
You will lead the creation and execution of a Joint Business Plan with Iceland, aligning Ferrero’s brand and commercial strategies to drive mutual growth. A key part of your role will be to plan and deliver impactful visibility and promotional initiatives, maximising brand presence in-store and online, while improving shopper conversion through targeted activation.
Collaboration will be central to your success, as you work closely with colleagues in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Net Revenue Management, Finance, and Demand Planning to ensure seamless delivery. You will also analyse shopper behaviour, competitor activity, and wider market trends to inform decision-making and adapt plans as needed in response to trading conditions.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a commercially astute and resilient account manager with proven experience managing retail customers, ideally within the FMCG sector. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are essential, together with the ability to protect margin, manage complexity, and deliver against challenging targets.
You will be comfortable managing full P&L responsibility and able to use data and insight to build compelling commercial narratives. A confident communicator and relationship-builder, you will establish credibility with senior customer contacts as well as internal stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in leading Joint Business Plans, delivering category-led growth, and managing promotional and visibility initiatives will be highly advantageous. Above all, you will be results-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to deliver impact within a fast-paced retail environment.
