Job Title: Network Development & Integration
Location: Bracknell (BRA01)
Full-time. Hybrid role - Office and Home Based. Expected to visit customer sites when required.
Your role
We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Lead Networks Integrator who is looking for experience delivering in the network’s fields covering any number of the technologies listed below. You will be joining a team of diversely skilled likeminded engineers. You are expected to work collaboratively in delivering multiple change requirements within a shared service and project environment. Your role will involve implementing and testing new and amended services from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards. You will produce installation and testing documentation and where required testing and/or deployment scripts. You will be working under the direction of Architects and Project Managers. You will provision networks, services and/or network maintenance and support, either directly to users or to service delivery functions. You will be expected to liaise with third parties, other project integrators and the service support team.
Your Experience
Your experience and types of activities to be undertaken include but are not limited to:
- Prior extensive experience working in Lead Networks Integrator or Networks Specialist Practitioner roles
- Work with and coach the account Support Team members, provide knowledge transfer for service handover when required
- Help the architect to technically impact and assess change requests
- Review design documents for new projects and progress task to implementation
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues during project delivery
- Work independently to given timescales with minimal escalation of problems or queries
- Contributes to solution reviews
- Produce high quality implementation and testing documentation using provided templates
- Analyse defects and issues using a structured approach for problems with medium complexity
- Give clear and concise instructions and guidance to others
- Communicate and manage issues in a timely manner
- Influences and creates a positive impact outside of their own project delivery stream. e.g. by contributing to other team meetings, peer review of deliverables from other project delivery streams etc
- Adhere to corporate and local methodologies and processes as appropriate
- Has played a lead role in developing and/or tailoring local processes
- Keep abreast of technology developments within their own specialism

- Encryption methods (Ike, IPSec, SSL,)
- VPN configuration
- Network Security Hardening
- NTP
- Packet Fence
- Brocade Switches
- Data Cable Standards (CAT5e/6e, DAC, OM3/4 etc)
- Hardware and Infrastructure installation experience (firewalls, switches, routers, etc)
- Able to produce Network diagrams, HLD, LLD, formal work instructions and test plans.
