Role Name : Network Engineer

Role Location : Dunstable, UK/Hybrid

Role Type : Contract

JD:

·        Network Engineer have an in-depth knowledge of operations amongst telecom and security platforms.

·        Advises and assists business & technology leaders in leveraging technology capabilities in support of their business vision and strategy.

·        This is accomplished through enterprise wide delivery of common language and framework for solutions design, blueprints, technology roadmaps, and prototypes.

·        Highly experienced and has in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies, applications, platforms etc.

·        Is instrumental in designing and finalizing the technology roadmap for an application.

·        Ability to do the solution architecture job for myriad of technologies.

·        Corresponding years' experience as a Network Architect in Primary Skill. Experience with other financial services clients.

Key responsibilities:

·        Should have strong foundation and hands on experience in network technologies -

·        TCP/IP, IP Addressing, Switching, Routing, Firewall, Load balancers

·        Installing, configuring firewalls (Cisco ASA, PaloAlto) - Access-list, NAT, VPN etc.

·        Cisco Nexus switch Nexus - strong understanding on VLAN, vPC, VDC, Spanningtree, Trunking, etc.

·        Understanding on routing concept - Static, OSPF, VRF

·        Strong understanding and configuring, troubleshooting F5 Load balancer - VS, Pool, SNAT, Self IP, Profiles, Persistency, etc.

·        Experience with vulnerability management tools, processes and procedures.

·        Ability to communicate with tech and non tech teams.

·        Experience with automation tools to manage vulnerabilities, attack surface and vulnerability remediation and develop integration with sources of information.

·        Experience with risk analysis and prioritisation of vulnerabilities.

·        Ensure execution of Vulnerability Management Operational Processes.

·        Understand attackers techniques to exploit vulnerabilities to open attack paths into our most critical systems.

• ·        Translate technical vulnerabilities into business relevant language.
