Network Engineer Insurance London (Hybrid, 2–3 Days In-Office) £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
An established insurance firm based in London is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join its growing technology team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to manage and support a global enterprise network, with exposure to cutting-edge infrastructure and SAN storage technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches and routers
- Administer Fortinet firewalls, managed switches, and NAC integrations
- Design and support BGP and OSPF routing protocols across multi-site environments
- Manage and maintain NetApp SAN infrastructure, including provisioning and performance optimization
- Monitor network performance using SNMP, NetFlow, and other tools
- Support cloud integration and hybrid networking projects
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with compliance audits
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in an enterprise network engineering role
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco, Fortinet, and NetApp technologies
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and VPNs
- Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP preferred
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud networking platforms
