We are looking to appoint a Newborn Hearing Screening Co-ordintaor to take operational responsibility for organising the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme in Shropshire including the management, training and development of the Newborn Hearing Screening Team in accordance with the policies of the National Newborn Hearing Screening programme.
The successful applicant will be possess GCSE's at grades 4 or above including Maths and English (or equivalent) along with an in depth knowledge of the newborn screening programme.
This is a part time position (18.75 hours per week) and based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
Main duties of the job
- The co-ordination of the local NSHP
- Data issues and record keeping for the local NSHP
- Equipment Issues Line management of the NHSP screeners
