About The Role
We’re looking for a 111 Pathways Trainer who can hit the ground running and lead the way in training new Health and Clinical Advisors in our call centre in Stockton-On-Tees
You will be working with the Senior Operational Trainer and a team of Network Clinical and Operational trainers alike. This role includes the planning, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of NHS Pathways and in-house workshops for 111 colleagues.
From a new starter’s first day, their time on the foundation bay and through to successful completion, you will be ensuring that each new member of the team are fully competent, confident and autonomous in their role as a Health Advisor.
You will be based at our 111 Stockton-On-Tees site delivering face to face and occasionally use Microsoft Teams to deliver remote workshops.
Pay Rates & Hours
- £30,075 per annum
- The role offers a 37.5 hour per week contract. As we deliver 7 days per week, Friday - Monday 09:00 - 17:00 and Tuesday - Thursday 09:00 21:30. A flexible approach to hours and days work is required
- This is a 6 month Secondment position with the potential of becoming permanent at the end of the contract.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a full induction and training for new starters in the call centre including the acquisition of passwords, systems in use and user IDs for all systems used.
- Deliver a full range of Pathways and bespoke workshops including CM2, Coaches Module and Adastra platform.
- Supporting new staff in their Statutory and Mandatory training requirements.
- Comply with NHS Pathways Quality Assurance Process to audit all Pathways Trainers.
- Support colleagues in coaching and foundation bay.
- Pathways Passports are completed for all staff.
- Required to maintain NHS Pathways level of competency.
- To be accountable and responsible for pass-rates of new starters.
What we'll look for in you
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- A qualification NHSP trainer.
- A minimum 6 months call handling experience using NHS Pathways.
- Experience of training delivery.
- In-depth understanding of the 111 Health Advisor and Clinical Advisor roles
