The NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) Study Support Service Facilitator's efforts are instrumental in underpinning the success of the service, providing essential support and enabling smooth operation of the team.
Central to the role is the delivery of a range of services to support the delivery of research following relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This will involve engaging with multiple partners across the region by supporting the coordination of communities and events. Additionally, you will maintain systems for costing and attribution of studies ensuring adept support for regional organisations with their data requirements.

You would be joining our successful team of study support facilitators who help study sponsors, funders and investigators to access data to enable them to effectively manage the delivery of their studies.
Good communication skills are needed to liaise with the multi-disciplinary staff at all levels across our region.
Facilitators are involved in all stages of a studies’ life cycle from study start up until closure. You will support the oversight of studies, commercial and non commercial, in the specialties you are responsible for.
You will proactively identify potential issues and opportunities, working as an active partner to resolve and action follow- up activity.
In addition, you will support business development activities, including: sourcing/signposting to relevant clinical expertise and knowledge to support optimal research delivery.
Having experience of working in a health and care research environment is beneficial to the role. No two days are the same, and you will be required to prioritise your own workload to meet the demands of the Study Support Service.
