An exciting opportunity has arisen as part of a rapidly developing convenience food-to-go manufacturer due to the fast organic growth of the business. The company is a private family-owned food-to-go manufacturer in London supplying retail clients and foodservice operators with a range of chilled ready to eat products. Simply Lunch is seeking a dynamic and proactive NPD Technologist to thrive in our fast paced environment. You will play a key role in driving innovation and product excellence, supporting various development activities.
NPD Technologist Overview
The NPD technologist plays a key role in achieving the company’s strategy to become the leading chilled Food to Go manufacturer in the U.K. The main responsibility of our NPD technologist is to assist in the NPD process from concept to launch. You will be using our internal IT systems to set up and control our ingredients and product. Ingredients sourcing, sample coordination and taste/ benchmarking panels, establishing and maintaining relationships with our suppliers will be part of daily tasks. You will be planning, communicating and executing factory trials for the business alongside the production team.
