Vacancy Description: Hours various, Location: Summerfield House, Aberdeen. Contract: Fixed term or secondment until 31 March 2026
An opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Grampian eRostering Team to support the use of the Optima system.
Up to two posts are available; hours can be flexible, with a maximum of 36 hours and a minimum of 21.5 hours. One candidate at 30 hours or above would be strongly preferred. Please specify your preferred hours in your application form
The postholders will support the eRostering aspects of the Agenda for Change Non-Pay Reforms. The postholders will be involved in system administration duties, electronic roster configuration, reporting, and other system related tasks, working to strict deadlines at all times. The postholders will work closely with colleagues in the eRostering, Bank and Central Rostering teams as well as staff and managers in service areas.
Candidates should have excellent people and communication skills, be enthusiastic and motivated and able to interact with staff at all levels. The postholders will be working in a small but supportive and dynamic team and must be committed to the delivery of excellence.
The post holders will be required to use Excel, MS Teams and other systems pertinent to the work of the team, this must be coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and pro-actively with all users and stakeholders.
This post is based at Summerfield House, Aberdeen. Team members are currently working on a hybrid basis of working from home and on site so the opportunity is available to participate in this. Depending on service needs, the postholders will be required to undertake duties at various sites across NHS Grampian and hence the ability to travel across sites is essential.
