We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Radiographer/ Technologist to join our busy and friendly Nuclear Medicine teams at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The Nuclear Medicine service receives approximately 3000 referrals every year. You must have exceptional standards and consistently deliver the highest quality patient-focused care.
Our Nuclear departments have two GE SPECT/CT, which are staffed by 7 Radiographers/Technologists and 3 Consultant Radiologists. Advanced practice is encouraged, and we undertake Radiographer-led cardiac stressing. Cross-site working will be part of the role.
The core working hours of the department are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and a flexible approach to working patterns is essential. Maidstone Hospital is a large Oncology centre, and many of the patients are referred for NM imaging and treatments. We also undertake cardiac and general imaging and therapies. Pembury Hospital is a modern PFI and carries out all aspects of general nuclear medicine, including paediatrics.

The Main Duties Of This Job Include
- Coordinating and leading Nuclear Medicine activity at the Pembury Site.
- To line manage a diverse group of staff at the Pembury site.
- To provide excellent patient care and be a point of expert advice.
- To be a key part of the cross-site Nuclear Medicine management team.
