Nursery manager assistant (Maternity cover)
Les Petites Etoiles – Tufnell Park
£19 000 per annum
7 weeks paid holiday
25 hours per week Monday to Friday (5 hours per day)

Role
We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the administrative duties for our nursery in Tufnell Park.
Location
You will work in our nursery in Tufnell Park.
Responsibilities
Children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind
We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people, keep them safe, and practice in a way that protects them.
All references will be thoroughly checked, and we will apply for a DBS update service and a DBS equivalent from any country the applicant was in prior to the UK and within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities
- Assist the nursery manager in organizing staff induction, DBS checks, activities, and new parent tours.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for parents and staff
- Manage office operations and procedures, including employee records, invoices, and dealing with visitors.
- Support in the classroom when needed
- Excellent organisational skills
- Be comfortable working in a changing and occasionally noisy environment
- Proficient in Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams
- Good telephone manner
- Independent thinker who is comfortable taking on small projects
- Confident in learning new software to support specific tasks
- Open, informal, and equal working environment where management is approachable
