An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse with experience working with children, as an Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse to join our talented staff team.
Beechwood is a two-form entry Primary school & Nursery setting including a variety of outdoor provisions, where Nursery Nurses make a vital contribution to the wellbeing and progress of our pupils. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children within a primary & nursery school setting.
- The role involves working as a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.
- Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
- Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
- General classroom support work under the direction of the class teacher.
- Appropriate support will be given to facilitate delivery of the role and have a sound knowledge of EYFS.
- Good communication skills, team spirit and able to communicate with the parents
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm term time only.
