We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about Stroke treatment and keen to develop skills in providing treatment, advice and education to patients in their own homes, to allow them to complete tasks and activities that are important to them.
You will be supported by an experienced and friendly multi disciplinary team with regular training and development opportunities.
- To participate within complex rehabilitation and contribute to its function.
- To undertake assessments of patients with complex and diverse presentations.
- To undertake advanced, comprehensive, and where applicable, standardised assessments within the specialised clinical areas.
- To use clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of evidence based practice to determine treatment plan using a wide range of treatment skills and options.
- To analyse and interpret clinical and non-clinical information to form an accurate diagnosis in a wide range of conditions, with guidance from specialist Occupational Therapists when appropriate.
- To demonstrate highly developed assessment and therapeutic skills necessary for the treatment of patients.
