Overview
As a Customs Administrator at EV Cargo, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, contributing to the smooth running of customs operations. This role suits individuals with a strong administrative background who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely collection, validation, and communication of customs documentation
- Sort, print and manage customer documentation for processing
- Gather accurate data from supplier websites and input into systems
- Maintain effective filing systems and data integrity
- Advise customers on shipping updates and documentation requirements
- Ensure legal compliance with import/export regulations
- Monitor team mailbox, resolve queries, or escalate appropriately
- Upload data and supporting documents to internal systems
- Participate in a 1-in-4 weekend working rota
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and KPI performance

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred but not essential
Experience
- Experience in customs, import/export, or freight forwarding advantageous
- Strong administration skills are essential
- Full training will be provided
