We are growing our Office 365 Management team in Sweco IT and are therefore looking for a new team member who is passionate about Office 365 technologies and collaboration solutions.
In the role of Office 365 Service Specialist you will work in our Office 365 Management team based in our
Leeds Office. In your daily work you will handle incidents, research and implement new O365 solutions, be involved with ongoing projects and be an advisor in strategic planning whilst working closely with the wider Sweco business.
Most important to this role are your personal qualities but Sweco is looking for an individual with a solid technical background and strong knowledge of multiple Office 365 technologies. It is advantageous if you have previously been involved in O365 migration work in a large organisation but this is not essential.
You will work proactively with developing and improving processes, solving problems, and developing documentation. You will be a ‘go to’ person for O365 advice and information both within Sweco IT and in the business, and therefore you must have excellent communication skills
This is an Operations role and therefore you are not required to have any Sharepoint Development knowledge or App/Flow Development skills.
SharePoint
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the business relating to the fundamentals of Sharepoint Online
- Participate in implementations of advanced features, data management and migration projects across the business.
- Handle the governance, maintenance, and security of our Sharepoint Environment
Power Platform
- Handle the maintenance and upscaling of the use of Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps)
- Research solutions for the use of Power Platform, such as DLP policies, access policies, use of environments and Dataverse etc.
- Work with the Sweco business on implementation of solutions based on MS Dynamics.
Microsoft Teams
- Provide technical guidance and develop solutions for the Sweco business.
- Responsible for lifecycle management of Teams and Groups.
- Assess the impact of new features and carry them through to implementation, including implementation of new Teams applications.
Microsoft 365
- Have a good understanding of the Microsoft 36 Roadmap and proactively identify, research and implement features which may benefit Sweco.
- Perform troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of M365 core services.
- Act as an advisor and communicate how applications within Office 365 work and interact.
- Demonstrate and document opportunities and limitations.
You will belong to the
Infrastructure & Cloud unit at Sweco IT and report to the Team Manager for Office 365 Management. The team is formed of specialists in the sub areas of Identity, Collaboration and Email/messaging who are spread across 5 different European countries.
As the use and adoption of O365 in Sweco is increasing at a fast pace there are lots of opportunities to drive change and be at the forefront of new technologies.
Person Profile
As a person, you are driven, proactive, like to work at a fast pace and find it fun to solve problems. You have an ability to think both short-term and long-term at the same time and are passionate about delivering positive results. You are also self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to come up with practical solutions to problems
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience and solid understanding of technical concepts from your career so far. They will also have hands-on experience and will be able to evidence strong skills in Power Platform, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams and other O365 Products, as well as a real understanding of the underlying Microsoft O365 core services.
You will be a strong and confident communicator who is able to adapt to working with both technical and none-technical people alike.
