We are looking for our new Offsite Materials Coordinator to support our Material to Site function. This key role involves driving and supporting the preparation and configuration of all outbound materials in alignment with the installation plan, ensuring accuracy, full traceability, and compliance with asset tracking systems and lifetime quality records (LTQRs).
You will be central to ensuring materials are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time to support project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- You’ll promote and represent a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) culture across the full construction lifecycle.
- You’ll coordinate materials flow between package managers, warehouse, and construction teams.
- You’ll attend and coordinate meetings involving procurement, expediting, and warehouse inventory.
- You’ll utilize a 16-week lookahead to plan and support timely material scheduling and deliveries.
- You’ll input data to support the creation of detailed visual aids, tables, and forecasts for material planning.
- You’ll support cataloguing, issuing, and tracking of materials using the asset management system (AS9).
- You’ll collaborate with planning, engineering, logistics, and site teams to ensure effective material handling and storage.
- You’ll report to the Materials Preparation and Configuration Manager on process improvements and operational feedback.
- You’ll contribute to sustainability and HS&E feedback initiatives related to plant and equipment use.
- You’ll generate reports on equipment acquisition, disposal, and material coordination activities.
- You’ll maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and inspections.

Experience and Skills:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent (mandatory).
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, material, and equipment management within a regulated industry (nuclear or energy preferred).
- Proven knowledge of M&E construction materials, industry standards, and handling protocols.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and LTQRs.
- Experience in construction procurement or warehouse asset management.
- Strong administrative, quality assurance, and data reporting skills.
- Competency in KPI reporting, documentation management, and improvement feedback.
- Certifications such as IAM CAM or DAM are desirable and can enhance your profile.
- Valid CITB MAP H&S test / CSCS Card or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
