Description
Our Corporate and Business Tax team arelooking for an experienced OMB/Mixed Tax Manager to join our dynamic andgrowing Godalming office. This is anexciting opportunity to work closely withthe office partners and our central taxteam, delivering bespoke tax advice andcollaborating with specialist service teamsincluding general practice, private clienttax, legal, and financial planning. You willalso oversee the delivery of corporationtax compliance services for the Godalmingclient base, supported by the central team. You will also work with the office partnersin our Redhill office.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager/Senior Manager in our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of tax advisory projects and clients.
The right candidate will work with the Godalming and Redhill team to identify and manage tax advisory opportunities from initial meeting through to delivery. They can expect to work closely with the partners and junior members of the central tax team to provide tailored tax advice throughout all stages of a business life cycle. They will deliver commercial, client-focused advice supported by robust technical analysis.
The candidate would be expected to manage the delivery of advice and compliance work. This includes overseeing and reviewing work prepared by junior team members of the central team to ensure accuracy and quality, as well as preparing and delivering bespoke advice directly to the partners. They will also assist with pitching for new clients alongside partners.
The candidate will have experience in working with OMBs, groups and family businesses, and will have an appetite for delivering the holistic tax advice that they require:
