Role purpose
The Omni Media Manager is primarily responsible for the management of all global paid media strategy. They will have a keen interest in keeping the business abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industry and sharing that knowledge and information with Marketing and Digital teams in Global HQ, as well as with Zone and Market partners.
This role drives the digital department's commercial performance through systematic campaign-specific results and overall measurement. They work closely with all the marketing teams in target-setting as well as post-campaign evaluations.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to –
- Create media framework creating Rules of Engagement guidelines for Zones and Markets which includes investment recommendations by strategic pillars
- Manage global media agency optimising Paid Search, Paid Shopping, Display and Paid Social channels to drive efficient results and hit business targets - well versed with on platform retail media
- Budget management - oversee media planning, annual planning, quarterly reforecasting ensuring spend is optimised effectively
- Allocation of budgets across multiple paid social channels, YouTube and Instagram in order to generate cost effective user actions
- Strategic 360 full funnel planning on Global campaigns
- Responsible / support for monthly, quarterly and annual performance recommendations
- Targeting and segmentation review audience targeting working with Marketing, data, CRM and agency teams to grow visibility. Reach as many relevant customers as possible by building scalable multi-touch programs. Employ the use of online ads such as Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager
- Play a leading role in the management of digital projects including 3rd party data, compliance, conversion APIs to elevate digital maturity
- Drive high quality acquisition programs, campaigns, and activities across the business' online platforms
- Plan campaign content, briefing creative assets and ad copy, working closely with internal marketing and creative teams to produce high quality content across the media funnel
- Collaborate with the Ecommerce, IT and operations departments to optimize programs, campaigns, and landing pages, based on the real-time performance and ROAS
- Oversee media migration from Global to local market teams, briefing local teams on best practice and current set up, upskilling and empowering them to take over daily management and execution
- Advocate and uphold Aesop’s culture and aesthetic codes
- General assistance with project work and administrative tasks, as required
- Support business integration needs.
This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract until June 30 2026, operating with a hybrid working pattern of three days per week based from Aesop’s London Bridge head office and two days per week remote working.
What We Are Looking For
- Significant experience in Paid Search (Paid Search and Paid Shopping is a must) and Paid Social (Facebook/Instagram/YouTube)
- Experience in PPC, GMC/Feed Management, Paid Social and display and technical understanding is highly preferred
- Strong experience in e-commerce/retail vertical as well as understanding of 'premium/luxury' environments
- A customer-driven attitude with commercial focus is key, as is an understanding of digital technologies, trends, policies and digital best practice
- A self-starter, prepared to use your own initiative in leading and managing projects to effectively deliver, with the ability to engage and inspire colleagues at all levels
- Demonstrable experience in delivering campaign landing destinations, previous experience of working with digital teams, agency and in-house side is desirable
- Well-practiced in managing a team, overseeing training and development to help drive growth
- Global exposure is a strong plus, demonstrating an understanding of different channel potentials across different geographies
- Strong analytical skills, familiar using online analytics tools
- Creative thinker with great attention to detail and creative judgement
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Awareness of the digital landscape and excited by developments in digital - always checking out the latest advancement and the next new trend
- Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives
