Job Title: Freelance On-Air Producer

Location: Onsite – Building 2, 566 Chiswick High Rd., London W4 5YB

Contract Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)

Start Date: Immediate

Number of Positions: 1 (potentially 2, to be confirmed)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Freelance On-Air Producer to join our dynamic team in Chiswick. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about live sports broadcasting and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, overnight production environment.

You will be responsible for supporting live broadcasts of major sporting events such as MLB, Cricket, Australian Football, UFC, and more. The role requires flexibility, as shifts are scheduled based on live event needs,. Please note that shift availability is not guaranteed, and more consistent work is offered to strong, dependable performers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage live broadcast production equipment during overnight shifts.
• Coordinate with editorial and technical teams to ensure smooth on-air delivery.
• Monitor live feeds and troubleshoot any issues in real-time.
• Maintain high production standards under pressure and tight timelines.
• Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations and internal quality standards.

Shift Details:

• Primary Shift Timing: 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
• Shift Pattern: Mostly weekends and nights
• Frequency: 5–8 shifts/month (subject to live event scheduling)

Compensation:

Night Shifts (Overtime Rate):

• PAYE: £30.65/hour
• Umbrella: £40.69/hour

Regular Time (if applicable):

• PAYE: £26.34/hour
• Umbrella: £34.91/hour

Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in live broadcast production, preferably in sports.
• Strong technical understanding of on-air systems and workflows.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Additional Information:

• This is a freelance position with no guaranteed hours.
• Candidates must be available for night and weekend shifts.
