OneStream System Architect & Administrator

About you:
We are seeking an experienced OneStream System Architect and Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of our enterprise financial performance management platform. This role combines strategic system architecture responsibilities with hands-on technical administration to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our OneStream environment.
Day-to-day, you will:
System Architecture & Design
• Design and architect comprehensive OneStream solutions that align with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Develop technical specifications and system blueprints for financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes.
• Create and maintain system architecture documentation, including data flows, integration patterns, and security frameworks.
• Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements, extensions, and third-party integrations.
• Lead technical feasibility assessments for new business requirements and system expansions.
Platform Administration
• Manage day-to-day administration of the OneStream platform, including user access, security roles, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities with minimal business disruption.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
Data Management & Integration
• Design and implement data integration strategies connecting OneStream to ERP, CRM, and other source systems.
• Establish data governance frameworks ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance.
• Configure and maintain data validation rules, transformation logic, and automated reconciliation processes.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes for efficient data movement and processing.
Development & Configuration
• Configure OneStream applications using the platform's no-code/low-code framework.
• Develop custom business rules, calculations, and workflow processes within OneStream.
• Create and maintain financial models, consolidation rules, and planning templates.
• Implement OneStream marketplace solutions and custom extensions as needed.
Security & Compliance
• Implement and maintain security frameworks including user authentication, authorization, and audit controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements, where required.
• Establish and monitor data privacy and protection protocols.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management.
Collaboration & Support
• Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and end users.
• Lead cross-functional project teams for system implementations and enhancements.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end users and administrators.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
• Experience with OneStream platform administration and configuration.
• Strong understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and enterprise performance management (EPM) concepts.
• Proficiency in OneStream XF, including business rules, data management, and workflow configuration.
• Experience with OneStream marketplace solutions and custom development.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database administration (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid deployments.
• Deep understanding of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (SEC reporting, etc.)
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-entity financial operations.
• Familiarity with highly acquisitive businesses.
• Familiarity with SaaS organisations.
