Senior Finance Systems Manager – OneStream

London - Hybrid (2 to 3 days)

Join a high-performing Group Financial Control function that supports global operations with best-in-class financial reporting, insights, and decision-making. Sitting at the heart of this is the Group Finance Systems team, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the consolidation and planning system used across the entire organisation.

The team manages and enhances the OneStream corporate performance management tool, which supports both financial actuals consolidation and forecasting. They are looking to streamline processes, sharpen financial insights, and deliver highly automated, meaningful reporting that drives strategic business decisions.

About the Role

This role takes ownership of OneStream development with minimal external support, playing a vital role in maintaining, enhancing, and optimising the system to support continuous improvement and automation across all finance functions.

You’ll ensure robust support for core BAU activities (month/quarter/year-end reporting), while also understanding and translating future planning and reporting needs into system solutions. In addition, you’ll be instrumental in onboarding new users, supporting change management, and offering training where needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems Development & Enhancement

• Gather and validate business requirements
• Initiate and evaluate system improvements
• Design and implement solutions, such as new planning rules or dashboards
• Test, launch, and monitor developments in production

2. System Administration

• Act as a key administrator for the OneStream consolidation and planning tool
• Build and maintain business rules for planning/forecasting
• Execute monthly consolidation routines and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain process documentation and access controls
• Train users on new features and support rollout of new capabilities
• Propose and implement improvements to optimise system usability and performance

3. Reporting

• Contribute to the build-out and enhancement of OneStream’s internal reporting capabilities

Candidate Profile

We're seeking a self-motivated professional with ideally:

• A degree and experience in a global, fast-paced environment (matrix structures a plus)
• Deep technical understanding of the OneStream platform, including VB.net
• Hands-on skills in building and maintaining forecasting and consolidation structures
• Strong analytical thinking and system design experience
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies
• Experience in financial planning and insight generation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
