About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Support Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience to provide high-quality, on-location technical support for end users and business systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and the ability to act as a trusted technical point of contact at the site.

You will be responsible for maintaining IT operations, resolving incidents, and supporting infrastructure and end-user systems in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues
Support Windows-based environments and enterprise applications
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security requests
Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Troubleshoot networking issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
Coordinate with central IT teams and external vendors
Perform system upgrades, deployments, and device replacements

Maintain accurate incident records and technical documentation

Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and SLAs

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Onsite Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Experience with Active Directory and user access management
Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing tools
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Experience supporting enterprise or multi-site environments
Exposure to endpoint management and security tools
Basic knowledge of server or cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
IT certifications (ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, Microsoft, or equivalent)
Experience mentoring junior support staff
