About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and technically capable Onsite Support Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to provide hands-on IT support at a client or office location. This role focuses on end-user support, issue resolution, and maintaining smooth day-to-day IT operations.

The position is ideal for early-career IT professionals who want strong onsite exposure and practical experience in enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues
Support Windows-based systems and common business applications
Perform password resets and basic user account support
Assist with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Log, track, and update incidents using ticketing systems
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior engineers
Assist with device setup, replacements, and basic deployments
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in Onsite Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support roles
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and end-user applications
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience using ticketing or ITSM tools
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

Exposure to Active Directory and user access management
Basic experience with endpoint or device management tools
IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent)
Experience supporting users in an office or corporate environment
