Our Head Office is based in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, but we operate a delivery network across the UK. Who we're looking for

As an Operational Account Manager, you'll be the trusted partner for our clients, diving into the detail to ensure their experience with BJS is nothing short of exceptional. You'll own the relationships, spark opportunities and deliver a service that leaves a lasting impression.


Key responsibilities


Client Relationship Management -


  • Be the go-to person for our clients, delivering nothing less than first-class service that wows them every time.
  • Build deep, meaningful relationships that turn clients into long-term partners and advocates.


Business Development & Account Growth -


  • Spot new opportunities to grow with our clients and improve the way the way we do business together.
  • Develop and propose innovative solutions to address client needs.


Reporting & Communication -


  • Keep your clients, stakeholders and your team up to date about what's happening, when and why.
  • Prepare and confidently present KPI and progress reports during client reviews and internal meetings.


Account Monitoring & Problem Resolution -


  • Track, analyse, and manage your accounts, ensuring a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Stay ahead of any issues before they arise and tackle any challenges head-on when they do.


Project Leadership & Process Improvement -


  • Take the lead on any client projects, offering strategic insights and team support as needed.
  • Regularly meet with your team to evaluate progress, streamline processes, and drive improvements.


Skills & Attributes


  • Proficient in CRM Software and know your way around the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and efficiently manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on performance metrics effectively.
